All of the children in the DOVE Missions program are sponsored by people in the United States or Canada. This payment of $30 a month goes directly to food for the sponsored child and their family, in the form of a voucher. Every month DOVE hands out vouchers to the sponsored family. They can use these vouchers at the grocery store and they are only good for food (no clothes, shoes, cigarettes, etc.) Many of the kids come to class hungry, and so feel that is the most important thing to take care of first, ahead of shoes and clothes.That said, we have only ONE child in the program left to be sponsored!
